CHANGING WEATHER -- SNOW

Into February, Bob & Joe took a ride up the mountains, at the foothills of our city, to check out the snow. The next month we took a bus trip up to Roccarasso, a popular local skiing area, with our Italian friends. March we had our last big party for the Navy League Naples, with Bob as President. We made it an Irish Night. Irish music, dancing, wearing green, and I danced a quick 'jig'.

BEGINNING 2009

We celebrated the New Year in by staying right here on our beachfront in Formia, Italy. What made it special is having son, Craig, Marie, Abby & Luke with us. We had fireworks across the bay, in Gaeta, and down the beach. In fact, we had some in our yard, thanks to our great neighbor, Giuseppe (Joe).
