A Racing Legend at the Auto Museum in Riverside

In March of these last 4 years, has started a traditional Legends of Riverside reunions. A race legend is the main honoree of the Saturday night dinner, and this year it was Bob Bondurant.
We weren't back from living in Italy when the first one was held. It's always nice to see long time friends in the auto racing world. We still see most all the races on TV so that keeps us up to date.   Do you notice how your days of routine take on a certain pattern?? ? Around here these d;ays have been full of Bob's phone calls, webinars, and 'go to meetings', with 'yours truly' being an EA, dog trainer, part time dancer, keeping up with the Soldiers Who Salsa, and North County Warriors Support, and the usual 'house stuff'........etc. Keeping plenty busy is good, however, we're still trying to find a happy medium. Now you know it never goes that way. It usually comes in bunches. Bob's consulting has taken him to three companies now, plus a couple Boards he is on. We'll get to some pictures later....... these kinds of things aren't fun to have pictures of.  Bob does love his evenings with 'the puppy'....Mika. She's not tooooooo spoiled, of course!!!!

 And Mika loves to sit out on the deck and survey all the 'lizzeys' she can chase.

 This is a special flower on a cactus on the property around us. It blooms only once during the year. Can't remember the name of it tho'.

          

Starting 2013

I guess it's about time I start the year, even if it didn't get started with a 'jump, and hit the deck running'. Better to begin easy after the holidays. Bob had a couple of meetings, one which took him to the snowy ground in Syracuse, NY. It gave him a chance to go over to hometown, Oneida, to see a long time family friend.

I was having a meeting with the Soldiers Who Salsa Board and Jennifer, the Executive Director and dance teacher. We look forward to more classes and expanding to other hospitals around the country.

And, of course..... more training with our poodle, Mika.

Bob and I had new pictures taken. I want to get back to work a little in commercials and voice overs,and some print work, like Bob and I did years ago for the Pala Casino. Bob needed a new picture to go with his bio.....etc.
