MERRY CHRISTMAS
2014
It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood and feeling like Christmas is here. As we share our year with you, we'll be thinking of you wherever you are. No 'out of country' trips but it was filled with lots of things that kept us busy. Our highlight was to the East coast, as you will see.
A couple weeks ago we went to Bob's client's company party in downtown Los Angeles. Drive?...no way, we took the train. Nice way to go. It was like a little Manhattan. I hadn't been there for years and was pleasantly surprised to see a different scene at night. Bright, exciting, and full of light and people.
Our charities for our service members and veterans are doing well. Soldiers Who Salsa is growing. In fact, the VA hospitals in 5 other States want the program and we are now getting the teachers. Check the new website: www.soldierswhosalsa.org.
Tomorrow we go to deliver the whole Christmas package to two families on board Camp Pendleton, the Marine base. That's for NCWS (North County Warrior Support). We take the decorated tree, Santa, gifts, food..... the works. A wonderful event, for them and for us.
I dance with the Toe Tappers and we did about 15 shows in the last few months. It keeps me kickin'.
Enjoy our year via the Blog. At the bottom, you might have to click on 'older blogs', since I put a lot of pictures in, to get to more pages.
We wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Prosperous, Healthy, New Year. God Bless Us All.
Love,
Marilyn and Bob
