After a busy 3 months in California, I thought we'd slow down a bit when we got back to our casual Italy. I do get used to a normal 'riposo' in the afternoon, (no, not every day). At a more even pace, we let our friends know we were back. It started with golf, of course, then a Retired Military group meeting, a social or two, etc.. It's fun when the military and civilians get together at a party cuz we get to see so many we've known for years. The Italian friends, and the retired military that have come back here to live. My friend, Beverly, and her traveling friend, Ruth, came to Sorrento as part of their tour. We drove down for the afternoon and evening and it was filled with non-stop chatter. Hadn't seen Bev for a few years. After a delicious dinner at a highly recommended 'ristorante', we took our share of photos, said our 'ciao's' and 'arrivederci's' then left for the drive back to our little town.
